POP QUIZ:
What was the name of the postal service that used horses in the 1860s?
A. The Pony Express
B. The Horse Force
C. The Letter Stallions
D. The Steed Service
In the 1860's, The Pony Express could deliver mail across the United States in just under 8 days. Can you imagine hand writing a letter to an old friend and they receive it weeks later from a postman riding a horse?! That seems like a lot of work to stay connected to someone who moved away. In 2025, there is no excuse for not staying in touch! I can text someone a personal question while also sending them a baby elephant reel on Instagram and then snapping them a photo of me eating virtual cheeseburgers. All at once! And I do.

Even though I live in Colorado now, I have friends from all over. It's much more common these days for people to move away from where they grew up.
I love the band Måneskin, but I couldn’t relate when they sang, “The only thing that keeps us apart is a different time zone.” What a cop out! Don’t let an amazing friendship fade away due to geography. If you can’t travel to be together, then join Virtually Good Trivia online for a fun evening with your far away friends!
